Step away from the stove!  The go-to method to cook corn on the cob is to boil it…but have you tried GRILLING it?   It’s easier than you think….your family will be asking for more!

Directions:

PRO-TIP:   Leave the husks on when grilling them, it will lock in the moisture and allow for a more even cook.   Before you grill them, peel back the husks to the steam, leaving them still in tack.   This will allow you to thoroughly wash and remove the corn silk.  Once washed and corn silk is removed, place the husk back over the corn.  Soak for at least 30 mins in water, to draw in the moisture before placing them on the grill.  Pat dry to remove excess water before placing on the grill.

Total cook time is 15-20 mins, turning the corn every 5 mins…until the kernels are tender.

Make your own garlic butter, it’s simply DELICIOUS!

  • 1 cup of unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 1 tabespoon of minced garlic (love garlic? ADD MORE! to taste)
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese (fresh is best)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
  • ½ ground pepper
  • ½ teaspoon paprika

In a small bowl mix all ingredients together.  Using a hand blender on low, mix together until smooth.

Cut small wedges of limes, once you have added your garlic butter to the corn, top with a splash of fresh lime!

Enjoy!
