The Town of Tillsonburg is continuing to monitor the spread of COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) in Canada, in conjunction with regional health authorities.

In an effort to protect the community, the Town is limiting access to some facilities, and is encouraging a variety of social distancing measures.

Access to Town facilities

The following facilities are closed until further notice.

  • Annadale National Historic Site
  • Senior Centre
  • Health Club

Group gatherings of 250 people or more will not be allowed at the Tillsonburg Community Centre at this time, in accordance with the recommendation of regional and provincial health officials.

Many organizations using Town facilities have cancelled their programs. Please check with your particular user group for details.

In instances where events have not been cancelled, please think of others and avoid participating if you are feeling unwell, have travelled internationally or may have otherwise been exposed to the virus.

While the Customer Service Centre and Town Corporate Office are anticipated to remain open at this time, residents and businesses are being asked to consider using electronic and phone communication where possible, and avoid non-essential visits.
