London’s loss is Woodstock’s gain.
London Police Deputy Chief Daryl Longworth has announced his resignation as of September 1st after just shy of 4 years with the service. Today, he was named Chief of Woodstock Police.
Longworth served 27 years as an officer in Halton and with his hometown Woodstock, where he served as Deputy Chief, before becoming second in command in London in 2015.
Longworth says despite this being a difficult decision, he looks forward to strengthening the already very good working relationship between London and Woodstock police.
