So the big day is coming, it feels like everyone is planning to be at some sort of a party, and you’re feeling a bit left out because, well you’re just not into it. You have no problem with football, or the big championship game, it’s just not your thing.  It doesn’t mean the day is a loss for you.  There’s plenty to do to make the day great:

10. Armchair athlete? It’s been done.   Armchair napper? You could make it a thing.

9.  I hear “Bodyguard” on Netflix is excellent.

8. Check out some Youtube clips of Australian Rules Football. (And remind yourself those guys aren’t wearing any helmets or padding. WHAT?!)

7.  If you want to do something with a sports theme, (sort of), ask your grandparents about something they used to play called “chesterfield rugby”!  😉

6. Take a moment to admire your floor and furniture, so very void of chip crumps, cheesies fingerprints, and globs of wing sauce.

5. For that matter, put together your own snack buffet with all of YOUR favourites.  Why should everyone else get to enjoy delicious snacks?!

4. Save yourself the anxiety of watching perfectly good champagne wasted when it gets sprayed everywhere!

3. With everyone in front of the tv, the bathroom’s all yours!  Make a mental note to pick up some bubble bath before Sunday.

2. Put on your outdoor gear, go to your favourite nature location, and, you know.. “HIKE”!   (see what we did there?)

1. If you ever do become a football fan, the way things are going for him you’ll likely still get plenty of more chances to see Tom Brady play for another trophy.
