Here’s an awesome idea for an activity that you can do at a distance, but still be out together with your people.
Instead of a drive in movie – a boat in movie!
It’s coming soon to a bunch of cities in the States, and apparently, a few locations in Canada (TBA).  Think of it, a floating cinema that you can watch from mini-boats!
An Australian company called Beyond Cinema has started it, bringing this portable event to different cities on a limited engagement basis.
Picture a bunch of mini-boats to rent, that each hold up to eight people, for you and everyone in your bubble.
Your popcorn and snacks and drinks are included, and they give them to you before you go out on the water. From there, they show a mix of new movies, and classics.
Word is, it’s coming to 3 cities in Canada, Calgary being one of them so far. Let’s hope it comes close. You’d you need a fairly big body of water, but small enough it will be calm. Wouldn’t you agree Fanshawe fits that perfectly? ;)
