An Oxford County OPP Constable has been arrested as part of an investigation into corrupt police practices.
Last Tuesday, police charged 44 year old Constable Nancy St. Gelais of Ingersoll with unauthorized use of a computer. The charges claim St. Gelias, who was assigned to the Tillsonburg attachment at the time, used police databases to conduct unlawful queries. None of the charges have been proven in court. A court date has been set for November 23rd.
The investigation is ongoing and no further details will be released at this time.

Three other officers have already been charged as part of the corruption investigation which was launched in January by York Regional Police.
44 year old Constable Richard Senior of Markham is facing 30 criminal charges including drug trafficking, weapons offences and disclosing confidential police information.
Toronto Police Detective Constable Bryan Carreia of Barrie is charged with obstruction of justice and breach of trust.
And Constable Timur Timerbulatov of Whitechurch-Stouffville is charged with breach of trust and unauthorized use of a computer for non-police purposes.
