London’s Police Chief has vowed to find a solution to the ongoing and increasingly costly issue of unsanctioned University street parties.

Chief John Par made the comments yesterday afternoon as the police force released more details about the fake homecoming event this past Saturday that saw an attendance of over 20,000.

A total cost of emergency services is still be calculated but the cost of policing alone topped $100,000.

28 people were transported to hospital, another 50 went to the ER. Over 130 Provincial Offence Notices were handed out along with the 3100 warnings.

FOCO began 3 years ago after Western University moved homecoming to late October, closer to exams.
