The Province’s Police Watch-Dog says Oxford OPP had nothing to do with the death of Zorra Township woman at the end of July.

On the 28th of July, Police had contacted the woman asking her to turn herself in as part of an investigation. When she failed to show the next day, an officer was dispatched to her home.

She did not answer the door and the officer left. A short time later, a friend found the woman dead in a shed on the property.

The SIU investigation revealed the woman had ended her own life.
