Hey (new) friends.. I’m Cathy and you can now catch me on Easy 101.3 weekdays between 2 – 7pm. I love love love spending my day with you.
How Would Other’s Describe You?

I’m generally a pretty positive and fun-loving person. I live to share a gut-busting laugh with someone. I’m pretty spontaneous. And despite the fact I talk on the radio all day I’ve also been told I’m a pretty good listener. I can be very outgoing, yet I have an introverted side too. I love time with my husband and friends and family but I’m also quite content on my own, when I get to be with the one who likes all the same things as me.

What’s Something You’re Passionate About?

I adore travel, even just a day trip to discover (or rediscover) some cool destination or hike or in our area. But the big draw for me is Europe. And if I can’t get to a bakery in Paris, an afternoon of creating pastries in my own kitchen will usually hold me.

I love good film, tv and music too. Oh! and game nights.

Something You’ve Always Wanted To Do?

I’ve been able to do a bunch of things that I think are pretty cool.. I’ve jumped out of an airplane, I’ve FLOWN an airplane (full disclosure my husband was qualified as a flight instructor so technically I just took the yoke), I got to be in the audience for David Letterman’s late night shows – twice (big for me), I’ve met and interviewed some amazing people (Wayne Gretzky and Gordie Howe are stand outs), I’ve toured Tuscany, I got my motorcycle licence, I co-hosted the televised New Years countdown from Niagara Falls for several years, and one time in Niagara I got kissed by a killer whale! Is there anything left, really?

If I wasn’t In Radio I’d Probably Be

A travel journalist, or if there was a job that would allow me to play with dogs all day…?

Who Is Your Inspiration?

I’m another grateful daughter in this world answers that question with a definitive: ” Mom”.
Strength, warmth, intelligence, spirit, gentleness, selflessness, compassion, humour, creativity, humility, resourcefulness, beauty.. and that’s just to start.
I miss her dearly.
